Cooper Architectural provided architectural services for this busy Springside shop which has been at the heart of the local community for years, growing demand from local businesses for affordable space led to the development of this proposal.

5-10 commercial units were proposed to North Ayrshire council with the project split into 2 phases, phase 1 – the front facing unit is now complete and phase 2 is pending.

The first unit now houses a dog grooming business, with in house sanitary facilities, the building has been designed to blend with the existing shop.

New road access formed and off street parking to be provided.

The rear scrub woodland will be cut back to allow for the new commercial buildings, adding much needed commercial space to this local Ayrshire retail development by Cooper Architectural.
